Journal of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (JTCVM, ISSN1000-6354, CN62-1063/R) is superintended by Ministry of Agriculture of China, sponsored by Research Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS), and published and issued by Editorial Department of Journal of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. It covers all aspects of traditional Chinese veterinary medicine. It is aimed to spread knowledge on Chinese veterinary medicine, share experience on diagnosis and treatment, generalize new scientific and technical achievements, and promote the combination of Chinese and Western veterinary medicine.JTCVM mainly publishes manuscripts in the categories of Research Article, Review and Commentary, Experimental Technique and Experiences on Diagnosis and Treatment in the fields of veterinary medicine and traditional Chinese veterinary medicine. Papers are welcomed on topics such as Chinese herbal medicine, acupuncture, pathogenesis, pathology, pharmacology, microbiology and parasitology. Its readership includes researchers, theoreticians, relevant managers, farmers, teachers and students majoring in animal science and veterinary medicine. A special attention has been focused on readers’ benefit together with practical applicability if necessary. Therefore JTCVM provides an effective vehicle for the worldwide exchange on information of traditional Chinese veterinary medicine.
Published since 1982, JTCVM has been evaluated as excellent periodicals by Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Ministry of Agriculture, Chinese Association of Agricultural Science Societies and National Husbandry & Veterinary Institute. JTCVM is awarded Chinese Core Journal, Chinese Core Journal in Biomedicine Sciences, Chinese Core Journal in Agricultural Sciences, etc..
