3. Scientific Research Achievements
Hong-sheng Li mainly worked on veterinary microbiology and immunology. His research Interests are comprehensive technology of preventing and controlling cow disease. For many years, he did lots of epidemiological investigation in bovine mastitis, stated the mainly pathogens distribution, dominant serotype and resistance, and established culture collection center primary pathogens of bovine mastitis. He also studied mastitis diagnosis, cure and immunological characteristics and developed many mastitis products, such as products Multivalent vaccine, Lanzhou Mastitis Test (LMT), Rukang 1, Rukang 2. Took charge and took part in 30 project and obtained 9 science and technology prize: as a principal investigator in the third prize of technology and scientific progress in Gansu province, the second prize of technological achievements in Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the first prize of technology science progress in Lanzhou city in 2008 (Reach of the immunological characteristics of mainly pathogens from bovine mastitis); as a second completer in the third prize of technology and scientific progress in Gansu province in 2005 and 2010, respectively (Reach and application of comprehensive preventing and controlling technology in bovine mastitis; Reach and application of new preventing and controlling technology involved in cow disease); as a fifth completer the third prize technology and scientific progress in Gansu province in 2004 (Reach and application of new veterinary antibacterial drug, Alizarin); as a seventh completer the third prize technology and scientific progress in Department of Agriculture in 1990 (Distribution and testing procedure of common pathogens from bovine mastitis in China); as a third completer the first prize of technology and scientific progress in 2005 (The promoting effect of efficient green feed additives (polysaccharide and oligosaccharide) on chook growth). Obtained 6 patents, cultivated 4 masters and published 120 papers. Now as a principal investigator in follow projects: the sub-project of National Key Science and Technology Support Project in the 12h Five-year Plan of China (Research on development of multivalent vaccine in bovine mastitis); project of agricultural science and technology innovation in Gansu province (Demonstration and promotion of key comprehensive technology in the prevention and control of bovine mastitis). project of science and technology development plan in Lanzhou city (Development and application of inactivated vaccine to prevent cow endometritis).
