Education background
Yan Zuoting received his BSc degree in Veterinery Medicine (1986) from Gansu Agricultural University, China, and received his Phd in Clinical Veterinary Medicine (2006) from Gansu Agricultural University, China.
 
Research Area
He is the Deputy director of Department of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine in Lanzhou Institute of Husbandry and Pharmaceutical Sciences of CAAS, the executive director of Association of Veterinary Medicine Branch of Chinese Association of Animal science and Veterinary Medicine, the director of Association of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine Branch of Chinese Association of Animal science and Veterinary Medicine, the executive director of Association of Northwest Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, and the reviewer of new veterinary drug committee of Ministry of Agriculture.
He is a veterinary scientist in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. He has developed his knowledge and experience in reproductive physiology and treatment technology using Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine on reproductive processes and diseases. Based on the requirements of the research activities, he has also developed his interests, knowledge and skills in proteomics and role of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine in female reproduction.
He obtained 9 awards, 15 patents, and 2 new veterinary drugs of Chinese Traditional Medicine.
