Education Background
Liu Yongming, a veterinary scientist, master tutor, received his university degree from Lanzhou University in 1987. He is the secretary of the Party committee of Lanzhou Institute of Husbandry and Pharmaceutics Sciences of CAAS.
Research Area
His current research is focused on researching animal nutrition and metabolic diseases, and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) development. He has implemented 12 projects from National Science Supported Planning Projects, Special Fund for Agro-scientific Research in the Public Interest, National Key Technology Research and Development Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, etc. He won the second prize of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fishery Bumper Harvest Award by Ministry of Agriculture, the second prize of Qinghai Science and Technology Progress Awards, etc. He obtained a new veterinary drug certificate about TCVM. Attend and visit for scientific researches program in USA, UK, Canada, etc. So far, 5 master students have graduated in his laboratory.
